Overview

On this trip we will show you the best of Turkey in a fabulous group composed only of adults, accompanied by a private tour guide exploring the beautiful city of Istanbul. We will take a boat tour of the Bosphorus. We will visit the Egyptian bazaar. We will also see the Santa Sofia considered one of the largest and most imposing churches in the world. We will also visit the Roman racecourse place that served as fun for thousands of years to the inhabitants of ancient Constantinople. We will visit the charming Cappadocia and we will have the opportunity to climb the hot air balloon. We will visit what was the house of the Virgin Mary, mother of JESUS.

We will also visit Ephesos, which is considered the ancient and best preserved city of Asia Minor. Among other things we will look closely at how the beautiful Turkish carpets are woven. We will visit the silk bazaar. We will also have the option to give ourselves the famous Turkish bath.

Who qualifies for the trip?

  • Adults over 21 years old (preferably)
  • People with passports that have more than six months of validity after the date of the trip, with at least three blank pages.

    Day 1: March 27
    • Arrival at Istanbul airport and reception at the airport by our staff.
    •  Transfer to the hotel.
    • Accommodation.
    Day 2: March 28
    • Breakfast.
    • We will begin with a visit to the ancient Roman Hippodrome, where the Obelisks of the Serpent and Theodosius stand out, as well as the famous Egyptian obelisk. After visiting the gardens of the Blue Mosque, the only one in the world with six minarets, you will see the exterior of the very famous Hagia Sophia temple (entrance not included). It was the largest sanctuary in the world until the 17th century, built by Emperor Justinian during the 6th century.
    • We will visit Topkapı Palace (Harem entrance included), a famous gigantic enclosure from where the entire Ottoman Empire was ruled for almost 400 years.
    • Free time in the Grand Bazaar. Accommodation.
    Day 3: March 29
    • Buffet breakfast at the hotel and departure by coach towards Ankara, the capital of the republic.
    • Arrival and visit to the Atatürk Mausoleum.
    • Continuation towards Cappadocia.
    • Arrival, dinner, and accommodation.
    Day 4: March 30
    • Breakfast and departure for a visit to this marvelous region, a blend of nature's whims and human art.
    • Visit to the Göreme Open-Air Museum with its rock-cut churches decorated with frescoes. Stops in the Avcilar and Güvercinlik valleys, where you can enjoy an incredible lunar landscape.
    • Next, some typical visits to carpet and semi-precious stone workshops. Dinner and accommodation.-- Optional programs in Cappadocia:
      • Turkish Night folk dance show: In a typical cave with unlimited local drinks.
      • Hot Air Balloon Ride: Hot air balloon ride at dawn to admire one of the most impressive landscapes on earth. Booking and payment on site, subject to weather conditions.
    Day 5: March 31
    • Breakfast and departure for the underground city of Özkonak or Mazı, excavated by the early Christian communities.
    • Visit to Çavusin, a typical village of the region with its houses from different cultures.
    • Next, visit the Uçhisar valley where you can see the ancient fortress carved into the rock.
    • Visit to the Valley of Love where we will see the most curious formations in Cappadocia. Dinner and accommodation.
    Day 6: April 1
    • Breakfast and departure towards Pamukkale. En route, visit a medieval inn on the Silk Road.
    • Continuation towards Pamukkale, a natural wonder of a gigantic white waterfall, stalactites, and natural pools originating from thermal springs. Dinner and accommodation.
    Day 7: April 2
    • Breakfast and visit to Pamukkale, famous for its petrified calcareous waterfalls formed by the lime in the water that flows from the area. Visit to Hierapolis, which has a necropolis of more than 150,000 tombs.
    • Departure to Ephesus, the capital of Asia Minor during the Roman era. Visit to the archaeological remains, where the Temple of Hadrian and the Library of Celsus stand out.
    • Next, visit the House of the Virgin Mary, and in the afternoon, visit a leather goods center. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.--  In Pamukkale, you will have the possibility of taking an optional hot air balloon excursion at dawn. (Booking and payment on site. Flights depend on availability and weather conditions).
    Day 8: April 3
    • Breakfast and departure towards Pergamon. In Pergamon, we will visit the Asklepion, the first hospital in Asia Minor dedicated to the god of health, Asclepius.
    • Continuation towards Çanakkale for a visit to the famous city of Troy. The city's fame comes from Homer's "The Iliad," which narrates the Trojan War. Dinner and accommodation.
    Day 9: April 4
    • Breakfast and departure towards Istanbul, crossing the Izmit Bay by ferry or via the Osmangazi Bridge, which connects the shores of the Sea of Marmara.
    • Arrival in Istanbul. Free afternoon for personal activities. Accommodation.
    Day 10: April 5
    • Breakfast and departure to the airport for the city of origin.
